AmmA is a band that has been active since 2009. They play folk unpretentiously with a very

unique fairytale-like style. They alternate old ballads with their own work and perform everything in a

melodic , jazzy manner framed by beautiful vocal harmonies. since their

creation AmmA has earned her spurs in various theaters and many festivals

such Keltfest and Castlefest , sometimes with their original three- piece band but regular

also accompanied by their own string ensemble. They have also performed in many

cafes and on the street at home and abroad .

Wacken Winter Nights

A winter wonderland of snow and fire, passion and darkness, fear and grace.

We present you with a unique concept for the winter season. Wacken Winter Nights is a magical music and arts festival for the entire family.

Join us on an enchanting journey through magical worlds and performances. Gather around one of the warming campfires for memorable and intimate concerts.

Experience prestigious bands from several genres, such as medieval rock, symphonic metal, pagan and mystic folk, playing full sets inside the Ice Palace. Stroll through the historic village and the Old Village Church or let yourselves be enchanted by astonishing shows in the Theatre of Grace. Encounter mythical creatures, musicians, wizards and storytellers in an enchanted forest.

Furthermore you can take part in several workshops, see craftsmen displaying their skills or bargain for goods at the market. Enjoy the gastronomically top class medieval treats, many of them in organic quality.

Dur Dabla

DUR DABLA is a Brest group from Folk Metal formed in 2007.

The group is composed of Breton musicians who are passionate about metal and traditional music. The main theme of the group is to mix traditional Breton and Celtic music with a Metal sound through original compositions inspired by these two styles of music. The sound of Dur Dabla is metal with flute and accordion, all sprinkled with a very energetic growl! The songs are sometimes in English, sometimes in Breton, and are inspired by the culture and imagination that brings Brittany, from its oldest legends to contemporary gwerzioù.

Ye Banished Privateers

Ye Banished Privateers takes you 300 years back in time for an imaginary journey through the harsh life at sea during the early 18th century. With songs inspired by traditional Irish and Scandinavian folk music, acting and elaborate historical clothing the privateers tell a story about the rough sailor’s life, lived on the other side of the law – and the fight against oppression and nationalism.

Together, the nearly 30 crew members take turns to go on tour and plunder, and with around a dozen sailors on stage no two shows are ever the same. The mix of rude folk and punk music invites you to dance and sing along, while the gripping ballads will make the toughest pirate heart soft.
