The Gray Forest is a Neofolk band from Santiago, Chile. The Gray Forest is inspired by the interaction of man with nature and its essence.
They seek to interpret the sensation that makes them feel the smell of humid earth, the rays of sunlight that seep through the leaves and the complexity of the roots that form intricate figures.
Spurv is an instrumental postrock/metal band from Oslo, Norway. Today, the lineup includes Gustav Jørgen Pedersen (guitar, main composer), Herman Otterlei (guitar), Hans-Jakob Jeremiassen (bass) and Simon Ljung (drums), with live and studio contributions by Eirik Ørevik Aadland (guitar) and Simen Eifring (trombone).
The band saw the light of day in the beginning of 2011 through a shared will to explore new musical terrains by the three friends Gustav, Herman and Hans-Jakob. Initially intended to be a platform for creating instrumental music in addition to other band projects, Spurv soon became the main focus of the three, who after a few months released the first demo Med enormt håp, complete with handmade cardboard covers.

Instrumental
project mixing Post-Rock with post-Metal elements, Shoegaze and a touch of
vintage electronica.
Australasia
is an evolutionary musical project led by multi-instrumentalist "Gian
Spalluto" from Italy. Its music evokes emotion and paints vivid pictures
for the mind's eye, transporting the listener far beyond where his physical
being is left standing.
Australasia's
music reflects a childhood spent listening to Ennio Morricone's soundtracks,
followed by a youth in extreme metal and heavy psych bands that led to a
passion for shoegaze, post-rock and Blade Runner-era synthesizers.
Here
subterranean streams alternate with tidal waves,
turning
into cinematic pictures that can last just the blink of an eye.
A path
distant from the typical instrumental music clichés.
The name Folk Noir invokes a collection of images coming from an Era of the past. A time of poets and writers, inspirations from the Occult and new views on the World we live in. A world with dark bohemian magic and various Arts. Folk Noir, the band collects these images and blends them into a new kind of dark folk music.
Folk Noir performs music with the use of (English) multi layered vocals, various medieval folk instruments, aswell as modern influences.
With their self written lyrics in English and translucent storylines Folk Noir brings a new dimension to alternative music, in which they evoke a darker kind of folk...
Folk Noir started out as a two person project between Oliver s.Tyr of FAUN and Kaat Geevers of L.E.A.F.
In 2012 Stephan Groth (FAUN) and Alex Schulz have joined this project to grow into a full-four-member band.
Meanwhile in 2013 they have developed into a respectable liveband which combines fragility with a powerful festivalshow.
In the end of 2014 they had a lineup change. Co-founder Kaat Geevers will now more focus on her band L.E.A.F. and Livy Pear joined the band. She enriches Folk Noir with her amazing voice and is going to play additional guitar and piano.
