Pyrolysis

Pyrolysis [pye-rol-lis-sis] is a folk band from the heart of the Burgundian countryside, Zaltbommel. With traditional acoustic instruments like violin, accordion, bouzouki and bodhrán, the musicians play original folk songs with a traditional tune here and there. The music is inspired by traditional folk music from different corners of the planet: Irish and Scottish influences are evident, but gypsy, heathen and even Viking influences also present themselves. With a lot of energy and a clear, positive approach, the members dance and jump around the stage singing cheerful songs about the good things in life.

Since an unannounced musical presence at Keltfest in 2014, Pyrolysis has been in an updraft, playing on large folk festivals throughout the Netherlands, such as Keltfest, Castlefest and the Midwinter Fair. It even led them to be nominated for the "best live band NL/BE" award in the Bastaard Fantasy Awards 2016.

Pyrolysis’ music gives you a feeling of cheer and friendship, letting you forget about your sorrows!
